Our list today covers terms related to financial earnings calls transcription. We talked about dates, quarters, and other text expanders related to time back in April, so you will not find those entries included in our lists this week. I definitely recommend that you go back and review them if you missed them, though. Numbers are one of the main things that trip me up when I'm transcribing, so they helped my productivity immensely
Of course, this list by no means covers everything. For example, if you cover a lot of pharmaceutical calls, you will want to add some medical specific terminology. The same would go if you cover a lot of oil and gas, semiconductor, etc. But you should find most of the basics that are in a large number of earnings calls. If you feel that we've left something off that has helped you tremendously, please let us know.
