Do You Do Medical Transcription – Poll Results

As we prepare for a week devoted to medical transcription (MT), we wanted to see how many of you currently transcribe in this very specialized sector.

It seems to be a fairly common theme that many general transcriptionists find medical transcription to be a fascinating field (as we do, as well), and this poll definitely reflected that. However, there are a fair number of you who just have no desire at all to become MTs, which I can definitely understand. I looked into the Career Step program fairly seriously last summer but in the end decided that the money involved was not going to work for me when there is an abundance of general transcription work available to me already.
