Text Expanders – Christian Topics/Sermons

Christian sermons are a growing area of transcription and one that, fortunately, provides the opportunity for a lot of text expanders. For those transcriptionists who are able to work regularly for the same pastor/speaker, this is even truer. The following list is just a starting point for the text expanders available in this area. As always, remember that this list is just to get you thinking about the possibilities, so be sure to customize them in a way that will encourage you to remember and use them.

Also, it's important to note that while some of my expanders are set as lowercase, simply holding shift while typing the first letter will capitalize them. So I can talk about the church down the street or refer to Grace Community Church, and I use the same expander for "church" in both cases, capitalizing the second one as I go.
